The staff, chef, and owner are all incredibly welcoming and truly care about the customer experience. The food transported us straight to Italy, it was that authentic and flavorful. We even ordered a pizza to-go because we couldn’t get enough. This spot is now on our favorites list, and we’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re craving real Italian food, this place is a must. He came to check on how we liked the food numerous times and made sure we constantly had water and clean plates. The food is out of this world. The ingredients are imported from Italy and you can tell from the lightness of the bread, pizza, and pasta. The octopus was the best I’ve ever had, even better than Bilbao, Spain. Once inside its doors I was transported to a locale where my worries slipped away and I felt embraced by the extremely friendly and attentive staff. They weren’t even aware of how welcomed they made me feel with their hospitality, but their attention was just what I needed to soothe my soul. The ambiance and attention to service gave me the lift I needed to return to the office and finish out my afternoon with a renewed spirit. “ My friend and I recently had lunch at Magdalena’s, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We were drawn in by their 32 Lunch Special, which offers a three-course meal. The special is perfect for two people if you're not too hungry, as the pizza is quite large for one. We started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh and crisp. For the main course, we went with the Calabrese pizza, and it did not disappoint. The pizza was generously sized and packed with Calabrese Salami (pepperoni). For dessert, we ended with a scoop of vanilla gelato, which was creamy and refreshing. What really stood out to us, though, was the service. Chef Nicolas Nikic, the owner, was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. He made it a point to walk around and engage with guests, asking for feedback and making sure everyone was enjoying their experience. His attention to detail was evident, and it made the dining experience feel personal and welcoming. The restaurant itself had a clean, cozy interior, and there’s also a lovely outdoor seating area that I wish we had a chance to sit at. The decor in the outdoor space made it feel like we were dining in Italy, adding to the overall atmosphere. Chef Nicolas also showed his thoughtfulness by offering me a complimentary raspberry sorbet after noticing that we were sharing the gelato. He also made a fresh batch of tiramisu, which he kindly gave us to try. Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts, and his version was fantastic and was beautifully plated. It’s clear that Chef Nicolas has a deep passion for his craft, and that passion shines through in both the food and the service. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Magdalena's, and I would love to return to try more dishes off their menu. The customer service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place. ”

“ My best friend and I were heading to a restaurant , that place was packed, couldn’t find parking , so we head drove off and found this place , and we both said “Let’s try it” so we came in and from once we entered till the end of our experience we got treated like “Queens” such a great experience and the food was sooooo good. You have to try it! Thanks to the owner Nicholas he was there and served us so well and gave us a free dessert. Definitely will be coming back. ”

The best octopus we’ve ever had. Honestly everything was delicious! Our waiter Alex and the Chef Nicholas conduct themselves with the highest level of service. Ambiance was impeccable. “ I was in Houston for an extended layover and my friend brought me here for lunch. WOW! I have lived in New York and New Jersey for the last 46 years- and we know pizza. However, this was the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. When you come here, order the Robiola pizza. Don’t even consider NOT ordering it. We had 2! We also enjoyed the gnocchi, arrancini, delicious cocktails and some wonderful coffee. The ambience is casual but elegant and the service and attention for customers was top-notch. I will definitely come back- and might even fly all the way to Houston for pizza now! ”
